I'm a geek, a gamer, a father, and a firefighter - not necessarily in that order. I reside in Western New York and do custom web and application development with my own development company, JiffSoft, LLC. I do all sorts of work from websites, e-commerce, desktop & mobile development, and more. If it deals with bits and bytes - I've got you covered. As a day-job, I'm a Product Specialist (basically a Technical Sales Representative) for TargetProcess, a company making Agile product management software. Aside from my work with computers, I'm also an EMT-CC/Firefighter with our local fire department. When I'm not in front of a computer, in the back of an ambulance, or in a burning building I'm enjoying the company of my wife, two sons, one daughter, and two dogs. My life may be hectic and full, but there's no other way I would like it.

Previously acted as Technical Sales Representative responsible for customer support and training on a software-based project management (PM) tool as well as performing software demonstrations for potential customers.

Responsible for the daily maintenance and desktop support in an inbound call center utilizing various DS1 lines and VoIP phones. Also responsible for maintenance of in-house software systems and the development of an entirely new customer-facing portal for maintaining traveler information.

Developed custom web solutions for various customers ranging from tourism to industrial manufacturing and was the sole developer for eCommerce solutions, trainings, and implementations.

Developed embedded software programs to manage automatic HVAC systems in automobiles and designed a new touch-screen interface for user interaction with the system. Started as a high-school co-op opportunity and began work after high school as a contracted employee.

Computers & Technology

I'm a gadget geek. I love computers and all things technology. From my own server rack operating out of a closet in my garage and the Raspberry Pi's hooked up to every TV in the house to the Galaxy Nexus in my pocket and Surface next to me - I can't get enough gadgets.

Firefighting & Emergency Medicine

I love what I do with our local volunteer fire department. Whether it be on the fire truck or on the ambulance, I enjoy what I do to help my neighbor. As an ex-Assistant Chief, I was previously in charge of our EMS program and our ambulance/flycar operations.

Gaming

Both board games and computer games are great in my mind. I happily host LAN parties on a quarterly basis in my garage and love going to other peoples' LANs as well. Friends are over at my house very regularly, too, for board game nights after the kids go to bed.

Scouting

I'm an Eagle Scout. I loved what I got out of scouting when I was a kid and young adult and I wholeheartedly believe that it is one of the best programs out there to prepare our children for their future. I'm proud to be a leader in our local Cub Scouts Pack and have my children in the program, too.
